About

Having worked within hospitality, retail and leisure industries during his tenure, over the past 3 years Mark has worked as an independent consultant providing sound advice on strategic direction and financial restructuring, as well as corporate governance, acquisition and divestment strategy to both family-owned businesses and larger, multi-Park sites.

With his honest approach and uncompromising integrity, he also assumes overall fiscal responsibility when required, offering his services to oversee all financial functions and stakeholder relations, as well as undertaking all planning of future strategy.

Background

Previously, Mark has been the board-level CFO of the Haulfryn Group: with over 26 Parks within the UK, they’re one of the top operators of luxury holiday and residential Parks and during this time, he managed the Finance and IT teams onsite, as well as overseeing all acquisitions and disposals, tax, legal and statutory compliance, alongside insurance and financial reporting.

The result of which included the completions of a number of multi million-pound acquisitions and divestments – some of which achieved a 25% increase over similar market transactions – as well as implementing an innovative and effective financial restructuring of the Park’s £60m portfolio, lending credence to his unwavering reputation within the industry

Personal

Mark owns a Property Management Company looking after holiday and residential properties associated with Parks, as well as running a family fund. A keen runner living in Berkshire, he likes the gym – although sometimes the gym doesn’t like him so much – and is the proud father of 5 children.
