What sets Jim apart is his experience: having worked in and around every possible type of business in his sector, he has the knowledge that allows him to devise innovative Sales & Marketing strategies that take advantage of the specific opportunities of each individual Park. It’s this versatile attitude that makes him as adept in the boardroom as he is at motivating teams to deliver outstanding Sales and Service.

However, it’s his drive and vision that really takes things to the next level. Clearly demonstrated within every project he’s undertaken, his Marketing campaigns are recognised as some of the most effective in the industry; being a calculated risk-taker, they seldom don’t deliver.

Background

With an award-winning track record of excellence during his time at Haven Leisure, Jim ran some of the most sought-after Sales operations in the UK before starting his first business in 2006, operating Holiday Home Sales across a multitude of Parks within the South West.

After eventually selling his shares to his business partner, Jim went on to be the Sales & Marketing Director at Haulfryn Group, resulting in significant profit growth for the company, generating an EBITDA increase of over 60% – a tough task during the height of the recession.

With substantiated success as a leisure industry specialist, Jim has become the go-to leader for any Holiday Park looking to improve their Sales operations – and over the past 6 years has built a second business assisting independent Parks with their Sales & Marketing strategies to help them reach the same levels of performance.

Personal

Owning two highly successful companies, Annesley Gandon and Cambridge Creative, Jim lives in Cambridge with his wife and three children. He’s an avid runner having completed several marathons and has his eye on completing all six major marathons around the world.
